Many artists use a website in order to promote and provide information to do with the band. The key information included in most artists websites include 'News'. This page is commonly shown as the first link behind home, implementing it's importance upon the website. The page addresses recent information about a range of options such as album releases or tour dates. Further links included on most websites include history, tours, music, clips and a shop. The 'history' is also captioned as 'about', providing information about the bands background including key moments throughout their lives. Further subtitles include 'tour' which states upcoming tours with material to do with their dates and location as well as information about previous iconic tours. In addition, most websites have either clips or videos providing the audience  with an  inside view of the band performing and an insight towards the bands perspective of life and performance. Lastly, all websites have a shop or store allowing sales of band merchandise such as clothing and CD's providing further revenue for the band as well invoking advertisement.
