Band Members
We've selected these people to star in our music video because each can play their instrument to a strong degree making the performance look more realistic. Additionally, each individual performing look older than their actual age further enhancing the realism of the performance. Furthermore, each band member know each other allowing a camaraderie to form during the performance similarly to a real band like Imagine Dragons.
After the rough cut we decided to change some of the band members. We kept Matt as we felt that he was brilliant in the realism of the performance and he really captured the voice of Dan Reynolds very well which added massively to the video. We also kept James as once again due to his ability to play the guitar he really added to the authenticity of it as a whole. However we changed myself as well as Joe due to the fact that Joe was unavailable as he was away. I was deselected because I didn't produce a performance which really gave a realistic feel to the video. Therefore Joe's replacement on guitar is Andrew who's older appearance links very well to the impression we are trying to create. My replacement on drums is Ryan as he looks more mature and by taking me off the drums it allows our team to focus much more on the filming and by having an extra person to help film will in theory help us to produce a more polished finished piece.
